Lagos Nigeria Carnival 2012 to hold on April 9

The 2012 edition of the annual Lagos Carnival celebration tagged “Eko 4 show” has been scheduled for Easter Monday, April 9.

The carnival which usually tuns out as a carnival of many colors, is designed to showcase tourism potentials of Lagos during the Easter Holiday.

This year’s edition will have 12000 beautifully costumed performers (young and old) parading the streets of Ikoyi, Lagos Island and finally Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) where they will be welcomed by the Lagos State governor and other dignitaries.

Carbon Fumes Drugged ACN Chieftains

Contrary to our story on Friday, that eight politicians were allegedly drugged and abducted in Lagos, the true story is that nobody was drugged or abducted. The politicians, during a news conference at the Bariga Local Council Development Area of Lagos State at the weekend, said they were not kidnapped as was thought by the police and the public.
