Last Friday, Fox News's online show Spirited Debate hosted by Lauren Green conducted an interview with religious scholar Reza Aslan, a professor of religion, about his new book Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth. Surprisingly, Aslan subsequently spent the entire interview defending his right of a religious scholar who happened to be a Muslim to write a historical book about Jesus. The interview is now been described by many viewers  as unfair, unprofessional and bias. This is because Green had interviewed a professor from a university affiliated with Southern Baptists but never asked him why he wrote a book about Islam two years earlier. Near the end of the interview, Green accused Aslan of hiding an inherent bias by not disclosing his faith background while discussing Christianity in his new book as well as in other interviews. Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has confirmed the collapse of her one year old wedding. A statement by her publicist, Ayo Ola- Muhammed on Friday made the confirmation stating that “on behalf of our client, star actress, Funke Akindele, we want to formally inform you that after due consultation and consideration, she’s now separated from Mr. Kehinde Oloyede as his wife.” “She hereby urges her fans and all concerned to pray and wish her the best as she moves on in her career.” The statement was further authenticated with the claim that “this is the first and only official statement from Funke Akindele on the matter and will be glad if her wish is respected” the statement concluded. Text Driving Kills: Savannah Nash, 16, Dies During Her First Solo Drive

Like most 16-year-old girls, Savannah Nash couldn't wait to get behind the wheel once she got her driver's license.Her first solo drive turned out to be her last. Nash, who turned 16 last week, got permission Thursday afternoon to drive to the grocery store in Harrisonville, Mo., to pick up items for the family dinner. Her vehicle slammed into a tractor-trailer on the way, and she died at the scene, according to WAFB-TV. Investigators said the crash occurred when Nash turned left into the path of the truck, which was unable to brake in time, KMBC-TV reported. Investigators said they found an unsent text message on Nash’s cell phone, and believe texting and driving was a factor in the the crash, the Democrat-Missourian newspaper reported. “ There was a text message that was on her phone, however it was not sent yet,” Sgt.
